King of Tokyo USA Championship Qualifier Tournament Event A (SAT, May 9, 2026 at 6 pm)

One Admission to Event A

We are hosting 2 preliminary rounds of the King of Tokyo Local Qualifier Tournament. You may sign up for either one. If you play in Event A but do not qualify for the Final you will have an opportunity to register for Event B (if spots are still available), or you may simply register for Event B now (but do not pre-register for both events, just play in the one that is most convenient). The winner of the Final on May 30th wins a FREE copy of the new King of Tokyo: Godzilla game PLUS you'll get an automatic entry into the King of Tokyo USA Championship Finals to be held at Gen Con 2026 where a National Champion will be crowned.  Everyone who participates in the Local Qualifier at Game Night Games will win cool King of Tokyo Promo prizes, including Promo Cards and Promo Monsters! 

EVENT DETAILS
 
DATES & TIMES: 

• Event A: Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 6 pm (check-in starts at 5 pm) - max. 16 players.
• Event B: Saturday, May 16 2026 at 6 pm (check-in starts at 5 pm) - max 16 players
• Final: For the Top 2 players from each of the above qualifier rounds will compete in the final table on May 30, 2026 at 6 pm

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Number of Rounds are based on number of players at each event (e.g. 3 rounds for  16 players). Max. 16 players per Session. The 1st and 2nd ranked player from each Event will advance to the Finals on May 30th. NOTE: Players may sign up for more than one round so long as they have not already qualified for the Final. We will be using the 2nd Edition of King of Tokyo.

$3 (includes tax) per Preliminary Round Session

Store Champion – Qualifies for the Championship at Gen Con
• One copy of King of Tokyo: Godzilla (early release)
• One entry ticket to compete at Gen Con (Saturday 1st August)

• One button (Worldwide Season Promos)
Note: Travel, accommodation, and food expenses for attending Gen Con are not covered.
