General and Euro

What is a Euro-game?  Much like any genre the term is very much open to interpretation, but a modern European style game tends to refer to a game with indirect or friendlier interaction, an emphasis on decision making and strategy compared to roll-and-move style games, and the designer's name on the box.   Board games today have exploded into all kinds of genres and combinations of mechanics.
