We play Legend of the Five Rings every Monday Night here at the store from 6pm to 9pm. Admission is free to come and play. However, on the first Monday of each month, we also hold our monthly L5R tournament in addition to our regular L5R night. Players can still come on a tournament night and play casually for free but, to play in the tournament, admission is $5 per person. Prizes are awarded to the tournament winners in the form of L5R product from the store.

The following are our rules with respect to our Standard Format tournaments. For rules about specialized tournaments, contact the store.

Only Emperor Legal cards may be used
We use a Swiss format with random pairings. We usually have 3 rounds and then have a top 4 winners bracket.
In the event of ties, as tie breaking points, we use one source for a player in a game (whichever area they did the best in) and count only that area for tie breaking points. We award 1 tie breaking point per: 10 Honor Gained | Destroyed Opponent's Province | Ring Played | -5 Honor of Opponent
If there is still a tie after considering tie-breaking points, then we have the tied participants play each other in a separate game to break the tie.

Game Night Games is a board game, card game, role playing game, puzzle, and toy store located in Salt Lake City, Utah. We carry a wide variety of games, particularly European style board games. In addition to selling games at our store and having many of our games available for purchase online here through our website, we also feature a variety of in-store gaming events including weekly game nights, monthly meet-ups, tournaments, demos, role playing campaigns, and special events.
